Thank you for using the "Muslim" app. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains in simple terms what information the app uses, how it is used, and what your rights are.
🔑 At a glanceYour personal details and worship records stay only on your phone. We have no backend server that this data is sent to, and there is no account or login.
We do not ourselves collect or sell your personal information.
Once the Quran/Hadith content is downloaded, the app works fully offline; the internet is used only for the one-time content download, to detect your city for prayer times, and to show ads.
1. Information you provide (stored on your phone) For statistics and reports you may optionally add profile details — name, profession, institution, address, date of birth, mobile number, and photo. Providing these is not required. Whatever you enter stays only inside your phone — it never reaches any server of ours.
2. App usage data (stored on your phone) Your worship records — tasbih, adhkar, prayers and missed (qaza) counts, streaks, points and badges — are saved on your phone so the app can show your statistics and report. These never leave your phone to any server of ours either.
3. Quran, Hadith, and Tafsir content download The full Quran text, all six Hadith collections, and Tafsir are downloaded from the internet on first use (hosted on GitHub, roughly 125 MB total) — during this download your device's IP address is visible to that hosting service (GitHub) as part of an ordinary web request, the same as visiting any website. Downloaded content is stored on your phone and works offline afterward.
4. Approximate location (city) To show accurate prayer times the app needs to know your city. No GPS or location permission is requested for this. Instead, your internet connection's IP address is used to determine an approximate (city-level) location, using a third-party service (ipapi.co). Only to obtain the city and coordinates is your IP sent temporarily to that service; the result is stored on your phone. You can also pick your city manually in Settings.
5. Photos If you choose to add a profile photo, Android's secure Photo Picker is used — this requires no access to your full gallery and no permission. Only the single image you select is copied into the app.
6. Advertising The app shows banner ads through Google AdMob (no full-screen or video ads). To serve ads, Google may use certain device information (such as advertising ID, approximate location, device type) — this is under Google's own control, not ours. Learn more: https://policies.google.com/privacy . Ads appear only when you are online; every other feature works normally without internet.
7. Notifications and reminders If you enable them, prayer and adhkar reminder notifications are created on your phone at the set times. This needs no data collection and no internet.
8. Permissions the app usesInternet and network — for content download, city detection, and ads.
Notifications — to show reminders (Android 13+).
Alarms and restart-after-reboot — to deliver reminders on time.
Vibration — for counting and button-press feedback.
The app does not request location (GPS), camera, contacts, or file-storage permissions.
9. Data sharing Only when you personally tap "Share report" is the PDF report (containing the details you entered) sent to the app or person you choose. This is fully under your control — nothing is shared unless you want it to be. We do not ourselves share your data with anyone.
10. Data retention and deletion Your personal details and worship records stay on your phone. You can edit your profile at any time. Uninstalling the app removes all of its data (profile, photo, records) from your phone.
11. Children's privacy The app is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
12. Security The information you provide is kept in the app's own private storage, which other apps generally cannot access.
13. Changes to this policy This privacy policy may be updated when needed. Any major change will be communicated through an app update. You can tell the latest version from the "Last updated" date above.

"Muslim" অ্যাপ ব্যবহার করার জন্য আপনাকে ধন্যবাদ। আপনার গোপনীয়তা আমাদের কাছে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। এই নীতিতে সহজ ভাষায় বলা হয়েছে — অ্যাপটি কী তথ্য নেয়, কীভাবে ব্যবহার করে এবং আপনার অধিকার কী।
🔑 এক নজরেআপনার ব্যক্তিগত তথ্য ও ইবাদতের হিসাব শুধু আপনার ফোনেই থাকে। আমাদের কোনো ব্যাকএন্ড সার্ভার নেই যেখানে এসব তথ্য পাঠানো হয়, কোনো অ্যাকাউন্ট বা লগইন নেই।
আমরা নিজেরা আপনার ব্যক্তিগত তথ্য সংগ্রহ করি না, বিক্রি করি না।
একবার কুরআন-হাদিস কনটেন্ট ডাউনলোড হয়ে গেলে অ্যাপটি সম্পূর্ণ অফলাইনে চলে; ইন্টারনেট লাগে শুধু প্রথমবার কনটেন্ট ডাউনলোড করতে, নামাজের সময়ের জন্য শহর সনাক্ত করতে, এবং বিজ্ঞাপন দেখাতে।
১. আপনি যে তথ্য দেন (ফোনেই সংরক্ষিত) পরিসংখ্যান ও রিপোর্টের জন্য আপনি চাইলে প্রোফাইল তথ্য দিতে পারেন — নাম, পেশা, প্রতিষ্ঠান, ঠিকানা, জন্মতারিখ, মোবাইল নম্বর এবং ছবি। এগুলো দেওয়া বাধ্যতামূলক নয়। আপনি যা দেন তা শুধু আপনার ফোনের ভেতরেই সংরক্ষিত থাকে — আমাদের কোনো সার্ভারে যায় না।
২. অ্যাপ ব্যবহারের তথ্য (ফোনেই সংরক্ষিত) তাসবিহ, আমল, নামাজ ও কাজার হিসাব, ধারাবাহিকতা (streak), পয়েন্ট ও ব্যাজ — আপনার ইবাদতের এই রেকর্ডগুলো পরিসংখ্যান ও রিপোর্ট দেখানোর জন্য আপনার ফোনেই জমা থাকে। এগুলোও আমাদের কোনো সার্ভারে যায় না।
৩. কুরআন, হাদিস ও তাফসীর কনটেন্ট ডাউনলোড পূর্ণ কুরআন টেক্সট, ৬টি হাদিস গ্রন্থ ও তাফসীর প্রথমবার ব্যবহারের সময় ইন্টারনেট থেকে (GitHub-এ হোস্ট করা, প্রায় ১২৫ মেগাবাইট) ডাউনলোড হয় — এই ডাউনলোডের সময় আপনার ডিভাইসের IP ঠিকানা সেই হোস্টিং সেবার (GitHub) কাছে সাধারণ ওয়েব-রিকোয়েস্টের অংশ হিসেবে দৃশ্যমান হয়, ঠিক যেমন যেকোনো ওয়েবসাইট ভিজিট করলে হয়। ডাউনলোড করা কনটেন্ট আপনার ফোনেই জমা থাকে, একবার ডাউনলোড হয়ে গেলে ইন্টারনেট ছাড়াই ব্যবহার করা যায়।
৪. আনুমানিক অবস্থান (শহর) সঠিক নামাজের সময় দেখাতে অ্যাপটির আপনার শহর জানা প্রয়োজন। এজন্য কোনো GPS বা লোকেশন পারমিশন চাওয়া হয় না। বরং আপনার ইন্টারনেট সংযোগের IP ঠিকানা ব্যবহার করে আনুমানিক (শহর পর্যায়ের) অবস্থান বের করা হয় — এর জন্য একটি তৃতীয়-পক্ষের সেবা (ipapi.co) ব্যবহৃত হয়। শুধু শহর ও অক্ষাংশ-দ্রাঘিমাংশ পেতে আপনার IP সাময়িকভাবে ওই সেবায় যায়; ফলাফল আপনার ফোনে জমা থাকে। আপনি চাইলে সেটিংস থেকে নিজ হাতে শহরও বেছে নিতে পারেন।
৫. ছবি প্রোফাইল ছবি যোগ করতে চাইলে Android-এর নিরাপদ Photo Picker ব্যবহৃত হয় — এতে আপনার পুরো গ্যালারির অ্যাক্সেস বা কোনো পারমিশন লাগে না। আপনি যে ছবিটি বেছে দেন কেবল সেটিই অ্যাপের ভেতরে কপি হয়ে থাকে।
৬. বিজ্ঞাপন অ্যাপটিতে Google AdMob-এর মাধ্যমে ব্যানার বিজ্ঞাপন দেখানো হয় (পূর্ণ-স্ক্রিন বা ভিডিও বিজ্ঞাপন নেই)। বিজ্ঞাপন পরিবেশন করতে Google ডিভাইসের কিছু তথ্য (যেমন advertising ID, আনুমানিক অবস্থান, ডিভাইসের ধরন) ব্যবহার করতে পারে — এটি Google-এর নিজস্ব নিয়ন্ত্রণে হয়, আমাদের নয়। বিস্তারিত জানতে: https://policies.google.com/privacy । বিজ্ঞাপন শুধু ইন্টারনেট থাকলে দেখা যায়; ইন্টারনেট ছাড়া বাকি সব ফিচার স্বাভাবিকভাবে চলে।
৭. নোটিফিকেশন ও রিমাইন্ডার আপনি চালু করলে নামাজ ও আমলের রিমাইন্ডার নোটিফিকেশন আপনার ফোনেই নির্ধারিত সময়ে তৈরি হয়। এর জন্য কোনো তথ্য সংগ্রহ বা ইন্টারনেট লাগে না।
৮. অ্যাপ যে অনুমতিগুলো ব্যবহার করেইন্টারনেট ও নেটওয়ার্ক — কনটেন্ট ডাউনলোড, শহর সনাক্ত করা ও বিজ্ঞাপনের জন্য।
নোটিফিকেশন — রিমাইন্ডার দেখানোর জন্য (Android 13+)।
অ্যালার্ম ও রিস্টার্টের পর পুনরায় চালু — সময়মতো রিমাইন্ডারের জন্য।
ভাইব্রেশন — গণনা ও বোতাম চাপের অনুভূতির জন্য।
অ্যাপটি লোকেশন (GPS), ক্যামেরা, কন্টাক্ট বা ফাইল-স্টোরেজের কোনো পারমিশন চায় না।
৯. তথ্য শেয়ারিং আপনি নিজে "রিপোর্ট শেয়ার" করলে কেবল তখনই PDF রিপোর্টটি (যাতে আপনার দেওয়া তথ্য থাকে) আপনার বেছে নেওয়া অ্যাপ বা ব্যক্তির কাছে যায়। এটি সম্পূর্ণ আপনার নিয়ন্ত্রণে — আপনি না চাইলে কিছুই শেয়ার হয় না। আমরা নিজে থেকে আপনার কোনো তথ্য কারো সাথে শেয়ার করি না।
১০. তথ্য সংরক্ষণ ও মুছে ফেলা আপনার ব্যক্তিগত তথ্য ও ইবাদতের হিসাব আপনার ফোনে থাকে। আপনি যেকোনো সময় প্রোফাইল সম্পাদনা করতে পারেন। অ্যাপটি আনইনস্টল করলে অ্যাপের সব তথ্য (প্রোফাইল, ছবি, হিসাব) ফোন থেকে মুছে যায়।
১১. শিশুদের গোপনীয়তা অ্যাপটি সব বয়সের ব্যবহারকারীর উপযোগী। আমরা সচেতনভাবে শিশুদের কাছ থেকে কোনো ব্যক্তিগত তথ্য সংগ্রহ করি না।
১২. নিরাপত্তা আপনার দেওয়া তথ্য অ্যাপের নিজস্ব সুরক্ষিত (প্রাইভেট) সংরক্ষণস্থানে রাখা হয়, যেখানে সাধারণত অন্য অ্যাপের অ্যাক্সেস থাকে না।
১৩. নীতির পরিবর্তন প্রয়োজনে এই গোপনীয়তা নীতি হালনাগাদ করা হতে পারে। বড় কোনো পরিবর্তন হলে অ্যাপ আপডেটের মাধ্যমে তা জানানো হবে। উপরের "সর্বশেষ হালনাগাদ" তারিখ দেখে আপনি সর্বশেষ সংস্করণ বুঝতে পারবেন।
